Fortune Back on Irvine Fight Card

IRVINE — Australian heavyweight Justin Fortune will headline the Irvine Marriott’s boxing card for the second consecutive month when he faces Jimmy Mullen of Simi Valley in an eight-round bout tonight.
Fortune (10-2-1, six knockouts) is coming off a first-round knockout of Craig Brinson. Mullen is 6-2-1 with two knockouts.
The best undercard bout figures to be a six-rounder between Seattle junior lightweight John John Palaki (12-1, four knockouts) and Los Angeles’ Paul Mayorquin (6-0-1, three knockouts).
The first fight begins at 7:30 p.m.
