NCAA SOFTBALL : UCLA Will Play Campbell Today

The UCLA softball team (43-6), ranked second in the nation, will play Campbell University of North Carolina (47-23) today at Columbia, S.C., in the first round of double-elimination, regional play in the NCAA tournament.
Seventh-ranked Cal State Northridge is the host school for a regional starting today. Illinois State (45-12) will face Cal State Fullerton (41-15) at 12:30 p.m., and Northridge (41-15) will meet Missouri (47-17) at 3.
Regional winners will advance to the Women’s College World Series May 25-29 at Oklahoma City.
