PORTER RANCH — A restaurant owner was held captive and robbed by four youths waiting for him when he came home from work Monday night, authorities reported.
Jimmy Lee, 46, of Porter Ranch, had just pulled into his garage in the 18400 block of Sandringham Court at 10:20 p.m. when four men rushed in and pushed him inside the house, said Detective Michael Brandt of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Lee, who had left his Chinese restaurant in Northridge just a few minutes earlier, and his daughter, who had been home alone, were held captive by the four, each armed with a handgun, Brandt said.
One of the gunmen held Lee and his daughter while the others went through the house, stealing $800, a video camera and a watch, Brandt said.
Police are investigating, he said.
