HEBRON, Israeli-occupied West Bank — Israeli troops firing antitank missiles destroyed a house after a 10-hour siege Friday and killed a suspected Muslim militant holed up inside.
The army clamped a curfew on Hebron, a tense town of 80,000 Palestinians and 450 Jewish settlers. The dead man is believed to be Hamad Yaghmur, 24, an activist in the Muslim militant group Hamas who was wanted in several lethal attacks on Israelis.
