Injunction Rejected in Breast Implant Case: A federal bankruptcy judge in Bay City, Mich., rejected another request by Dow Corning Corp. to halt breast implant lawsuits against its parent companies but said the request could be made again later. Dow Corning, once the largest maker of silicone breast implants, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month. That froze all debts and lawsuits against the firm while it comes up with a financial reorganization plan. Dow Corning also wanted a freeze on pending and new implant lawsuits against its 50-50 owners, Dow Chemical Corp. of Midland, Mich., and Corning Inc. of Corning, N.Y.
