THOUSAND OAKS : Trustee Lynch in Stable Condition
- Share via
Mildred Lynch, a trustee on the Conejo Valley Unified School District board, was in stable condition at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks Thursday afternoon after suffering heart problems, hospital officials and family members said.
Lynch’s husband, Bob, said that she suffered chest pains Wednesday night and Thursday morning. He said she expected to undergo an angioplasty, a procedure in which a tiny balloon is used to unclog arteries. If that does not work, she will require open-heart surgery, he said.
Lynch, 77, is a retired English teacher who has served on the board since 1985. She did not attend the board’s Thursday night meeting because of her illness.
