Countywide : Blood Donors Sought for Friday Session

The Red Cross and La Habra’s Friendly Hills HealthCare Network are seeking people willing to donate blood Friday.
Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds, is eligible to give blood. Nearly 500,000 donors are sought out annually to meet the demand for blood reserves at hospitals throughout Southern California, Friendly Hills officials said.
The Friday blood drive will be from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Albert E. Barnett Center for Research and Education, 501 S. Idaho St. in La Habra.
