COTO DE CAZA : Wilderness Park Offers Youth Classes

Children from 7 to 12 years old may participate in the Junior Ranger Program at Gen. Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park each Saturday for the next five weeks.
The program will teach outdoor safety survival, mapping and Native American crafts, as well as about the wild animals that inhabit the park.
The park is in the former Wagon Wheel Canyon Regional Park. The program is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Saturday through Aug. 12. Participants must register the day before each session, which costs $2 per child. Space is limited.
