Parent of Southern California Gas Chooses a New CFO

Pacific Enterprises has named Larry J. Dagley senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 1. Dagley will oversee the company’s finance and planning department. He succeeds Lloyd Levitin, who had held the position since 1981 and retired in June. Dagley, 47, was senior vice president and chief financial officer at Transco Energy Co., a Houston-based natural gas pipeline company. Pacific Enterprises is a Los Angeles-based utility holding company whose principal subsidiary is Southern California Gas Co.
* Imperial Bank executive vice president Robert M. Franko is assuming the additional responsibilities of chief financial officer. Franko succeeds David A. Sklar, who resigned from the bank on June 30. Franko joined Los Angeles-based Imperial earlier this year.
* Denise Shull has been appointed senior vice president of operations of Foundation Health Corp., a Rancho Cordova, Calif.-based health plan. Before this appointment, she was president and chief operating officer of Associated Claims Management Inc., the workers’ compensation third party administrator of Foundation Health. Shull will be responsible for all aspects of the operational success of Foundation Health.
