Pacoima : United Way Funding Panel Will Meet

A volunteer panel that reviews community projects for possible United Way funding is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. today in Pacoima.
New proposals are to be considered by members of the Northeast Communities Action Project, which recently began its new fiscal year.
The group, which has a sister group in Sun Valley, previously approved proposals ranging from scholarships and leadership training programs to health fairs and beautification efforts.
The meeting will be held at Jeopardy Boxing Gym, 11844 Glenoaks Blvd., Pacoima.
