Sweeney Called for Illegal Procedure

Walt Sweeney’s pathetic lawsuit against the NFL [July 15] is evidence that he cannot accept responsibility for his own actions. Though anabolic steroids were encouraged by his coaches and teammates, I find it hard to believe that he became addicted to alcohol, Valium, speed and marijuana in an effort to enhance his on-field performance.
Take responsibility, Walt. It is time to be a man and not a self-proclaimed victim.
