Mixed Projections for Leading Auto Makers: Toyota Motor Corp., the country’s No. 1 auto maker, announced that it would cut domestic production 5.8% to 3.22 million vehicles for the year, citing the rising yen, weakening overseas markets and slower-than-expected domestic sales. No. 2 auto maker Nissan Motor Co. reported rises in sales, exports and domestic production for the first half of 1995.
