QLogic Corp.: The Costa Mesa computer products manufacturer recorded a net loss of $724,000, or 13 cents a share, for its fiscal 1996 first quarter, contrasted with net income of $534,000, or 10 cents a share, for the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenue for the quarter ended July 2 declined 32% to $9.6 million from $14.2 million. The company said unfavorable market developments depressed results in the first quarter.
