The $5,000 reward offered to help solve the slaying of a fireworks stand security guard has been doubled by the city.
Bill Martin, 36, was stabbed to death before dawn on July 4 while guarding a Red Devil Fireworks stand in Garden Grove. No witnesses have come forward and no suspects have been charged.
American Promotional Events, marketer of the fireworks, offered the reward, and the City Council voted this week to double it to $10,000.
