The Los Angeles Blades ended a three-game losing streak with a 6-5 victory over the Oklahoma City Coyotes in a professional roller hockey match Saturday night at the Forum.
The Blades (7-8-4) are four points ahead of the Coyotes (7-12-0) in the battle for the final playoff spot in the Pacific Division.
The Blades were led by back-to-back goals from Steve MacSwain and Steve Bogoyevac.
The Coyotes outscored the Blades, 2-1, in the second quarter and the score was even at 3-3 after three periods.
But two Los Angeles goals gave the Blades the advantage. Coyote forward Doug Lawrence scored with 31 seconds remaining, but that was it.
The Blades face the Pacific Division-leading Anaheim Bullfrogs at 7 p.m. Monday in Anaheim. They return home on Thursday against the Phoenix Cobras at the Forum at 7:30 p.m.
