Ousting Hiegert Another Strike Against CSUN

The earthquake was “strike one,” and losing Bob Hiegert as Cal State Northridge’s athletic director is “strike two.”
What a great loss!
I saw firsthand, as the CSUN Faculty Athletics representative at the time of the earthquake, the tremendous business, fund-raising, management and communications skills of Hiegert.
His dedication, energy, vision and loyalty will be greatly missed.
