Weekend Box Office : ‘Brothers McMullen’ Starts Off Hot

“The Brothers McMullen,” a Fox/Searchlight Pictures release, drew sellout crowds on seven screens in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, which gave it an extremely high per-screen average. “In all 3 markets, the numbers were fantastic and the exit surveys were very, very strong,” said David Dinerstein, Fox/Searchlight senior vice-president of marketing. On Friday, the picture will be released in the top 20 markets across the country.
