The city has budgeted $100,000 for pavement repairs to 22 streets during this fiscal year.
City Engineer Bill Goodwin told the City Council he estimates that the repairs will cost a bit less than budgeted--about $90,400.
If bids are lower than expected, work on Hidden Valley Drive may be added to this year’s street rehabilitation, Goodwin said.
The City Council approved the list of streets when it authorized advertising for bids for the work.
The streets scheduled for repairs are Mendocino Circle, Flintridge Drive, Mariposa Drive, Balliet Drive, Marion Way, Carmel Drive, Durfee Lane, Alma Lane, Orangegrove Circle, Wulff Drive and Lincoln Circle.
Others to be repaired are Lincoln Street, Potter Circle, Frederick Drive, Beardsley Circle, Covington Circle, Cedarhill Circle, Villa Vista Way, Miller Circle, Abbott Lane, Edgewood Avenue and Jerome Street.
