A tiny slice of Bavaria, Germany, will come to Conejo Creek Park in the form of the Newbury Park Rotary Club’s ninth annual Oktoberfest.
Held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the festival will include German bands and dancers, arts and crafts exhibits, traditional foods--including sausages and sauerkraut. Children’s activities will include pony and elephant rides, clowns, jugglers and more. While organizers stress this is a “family affair,” those ready to hoist a stein-full of beer won’t be disappointed.
