Highlights
Last season ended a run of six consecutive playoff appearances for Southern California Christian, which also won one Southern Section championship in that span. Senior running back Ken Buhler improved on a junior season in which he rushed for 248 yards in one game and 935 on the year. Also, junior receiver David Enda made several timely, tough catches.

Delta: Liberty Christian Coach Mark Baltodano believes his seniors possess the right stuff to help claim the title of this football-only league composed of teams from the Academy and Express leagues. “We see ourselves as definite contenders for the league [championship],” he said. “We have four seniors who offer some great leadership along with even better talent.”
