Thousand Oaks 22, Crescenta Valley 6--The Lancers made Mike Kelly’s coaching debut a success with a victory at Glendale.
Thousand Oaks was led by running back Brandon Jackson, who rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown in 20 carries. Lancer quarterback Scott McEwan completed six of 16 passes for 84 yards and a 15-yard touchdown to wide receiver Barrett Grindle.
Crescenta Valley running back Kenneth Pritchett rushed for 141 in 15 carries, including a 77-yard touchdown.
