Saugus 34, Palmdale 27--Jeremy Machinski scored three touchdowns and rushed for 91 yards in 19 carries to lead the Centurions (1-1) at Saugus. Mark Pacaro’s one-yard scoring run capped a 62-yard drive with 1:46 left in the game to seal the victory.

Palmdale (1-1) was led by junior running back Jan Brown, who had 73 yards in five carries, and quarterback Grant Livermont, who completed five of 12 passes for 84 yards.
