Gangs Linked to Fatal Shooting of 18-Year-Old

SANTA ANA — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night, possibly by members of a rival gang, police said.
The body of Gustavo Orozco was found at about 10:50 p.m. between two parked cars in the 1200 block of East Fairhaven Avenue by officers responding to an emergency call, police Sgt. Dan Carr said Saturday.
Orozco, a known member of a Santa Ana gang, had been shot several times in the upper body, Carr said.
A gun was found in Orozco’s pants pocket, but police said it was not used during the shooting.
