WESTMINSTER : Girl, 16, Raped in Parking Lot

Investigators are searching for a man who forced a 16-year-old girl walking home from school into his car and raped her at knifepoint, Westminster police said Tuesday.
The girl was in the parking lot of Ralphs in the 15400 block of Brookhurst Street about 4:30 p.m. Monday when a black car pulled up, Officer Robin Kapp said.
A knife-wielding man in his 20s or early 30s abducted the girl and drove behind the grocery store, where he raped her, Kapp said.
The assailant then pushed her out of the car and fled, police said.
Investigators said they have not linked the man to any other rape or rape attempts.
No detailed description of the rapist or the car was immediately available.
