The Answer: Get Out and Vote

* Orange County politics . . . what a trip! Those of you who live here need to ask the following questions, but don’t expect any answers from those who should be providing them.

Why do we have traffic jams on any given freeway at any given time?

Why have our schools had their money stolen by the county treasury and the best attempt to correct that situation (Measure R) was condemned by every legislator in the county?

Why do property values continue to decline?

There are many more questions one could ask and most would relate to cuts in services and the decline of accepting some of the responsibility of helping the human condition.

I was hoping Dick Ackerman might be intellectual enough to be a possible bright spot in the Assembly for us, but I noticed as his campaign progressed he sold out to the typical Orange County Republican rhetoric.

I was hoping I would finally get to vote my party affiliation and was sadly disappointed.

I know there are many citizens of this fine county who don’t buy into this philosophy of doing and saying anything to get reelected.

I wish you would get out and vote.
