SEASON AT A GLANCE: Tolmie, a goalie, has been at his best when Buena, 11-10 overall, 3-3 in the hotly contested Channel League, plays its toughest games. In a tournament game earlier this year, he held San Luis Obispo, then ranked sixth in Division IV, to seven goals in a Buena victory. In another tournament, he held top-ranked Royal to seven goals in a sudden-death overtime loss. He has made 308 saves to help Buena reach the No. 6 ranking in Division IV.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Tolmie made 51 saves in two games, including 32 in a 5-4 overtime victory over Santa Barbara, the No. 2-ranked team in Division IV. It was Buena’s first water polo victory over Santa Barbara in six years. Tolmie held the Dons to one goal after the first period. Seven of his saves came during overtime.
