Ridgecrest Burroughs 24, Littlerock 22--Pete Greedy sacked Bruce Johnson with 2:47 remaining and Littlerock at its 35, ending the Lobos’ final drive in a loss at Ridgecrest.
The Burros held touted tailback Lafayette Bailey to 35 yards rushing. The senior, who has had two 200-yard games, came in to the game averaging 150 yards.
Littlerock’s JaQuay Bangs caught eight passes for 133 yards. Bruce Johnson completed 14 of 21 passes for 207 yards. Littlerock (2-6, 0-3) lost its third game in a row.
