Dolco Packaging Earnings Up 9% for 3rd Quarter

Dolco Packaging Corp., a Studio City maker of plastic packaging, said its earnings were $1.05 million in the third quarter that ended Sept. 30, up 9% from $959,000. Sales were $20.13 million, up 24% from $16.29 million in the third quarter a year ago.
For the first nine months of 1995, earnings were $3.69 million, up 12% from $3.29 million in the first nine months of the previous year. Nine-month sales were $59.87 million, up 23% from $48.79 million.
Higher prices and increased volume helped boost third-quarter earnings and revenues, the company said.
