REAL ESTATE : Report Finds O.C. Building Permits Down 34% for First Nine Months of ’95

The latest report for the Construction Industry Research Board, a nonprofit group in the City of Industry, shows that for the first nine months of this year, building permits in Orange County were down 34% from the same period last year. So far this year, 6,515 permits were pulled in Orange County compared to 9,878 last year. “Last year was a good year, and June had an inflated number of permits,” said Ben Bartolotto, research director. “But even without that it is still down.”
