ARV Assisted Living Inc.: The Costa Mesa company said Monday it has agreed to acquire Villa at Palm Desert, a 77-unit assisted-living facility. The $6.6-million acquisition will be ARV’s first since the company offered stock to the public last month for the first time. The transaction is expected to close by Nov. 30.
ARV operates 31 such facilities, with 3,534 units, throughout the nation. Another 1,223 units are being developed in California, Texas, New Jersey, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Florida and Colorado.
