A man armed with a handgun robbed Kinko’s Copies on South Garden Street in west Ventura at 8:21 a.m. Sunday, Ventura police said.
The man brandished his gun and demanded that a clerk place cash in a paper bag, said Ventura Police Lt. Brad Talbot. He left the 24-hour shop in a yellow car driven by a second man. Police declined to disclose the amount of cash taken.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery, Talbot said.
The man who entered the store was described as Latino, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, white shirt and gray pants, and his face was covered with a brown bandanna.
The driver was described as a male Latino about 17 years old wearing a light-colored shirt.
