Armor All Products Corp.: The Aliso Viejo marketer of automotive appearance products said third-quarter net income declined 53% to $1.9 million, or 9 cents a share, from $4 million, or 19 cents a share, for the prior-year quarter. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 declined 12%, to $34.6 million from $39.2 million. For the nine-month period, net income dropped 46% to $8 million, or 38 cents a share, from $14.8 million, or 70 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue was down 9% to $124.6 million from $136.9 million. The company attributed the decline in revenue to lower shipments in the North American automotive division, partially offset by shipment increases in the international and home care divisions. In addition, a decline in consumer purchases resulted in weaker retailer ordering, the company said.
