Granola Bars Recalled: Generals Mills Inc. has issued a warning to people who are allergic to peanuts, saying some of the company’s granola bars may have had peanut butter mistakenly added to them. The company said boxes of Nature Valley Crunch Oats ‘n Honey granola bars were being removed from grocery store shelves across the country. The advisory affects only 10-ounce boxes of the bars bearing the code number E509C1, E509C2 or E509C3. Because the granola bars do not ordinarily include peanut butter, it is not listed as an ingredient on the packages.
