Concert Delayed: The Glendale Symphony’s concert at the Alex Theatre to be led by guest conductor George Pehlivanian has been postponed from Saturday to March 17, symphony Executive Director Leigh Trenham announced. The reason for the move, Trenham said, is “to accommodate Mr. Pehlivanian’s complex conducting schedule.” The American musician, Lebanon-born and Southern California-trained, who is currently principal guest conductor of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Yerevan, will come here from France.
