CET Environmental Services Inc.: The Tustin firm said Tuesday that it posted a profit last year of $2 million, or 49 cents a share, up 66% from $1.2 million, or 33 cents a share, a year earlier.
Revenue of $48.4 million was more than double the $23.5 million reported for previous year.
The environmental cleanup company cited its expansion into the Southeastern United States, with new offices pushing sales in five Gulf Coast states, for much of its growth.
For the fourth quarter, CET reported a profit of $668,428, or 13 cents a share. That was a 166.7% increase from the year-earlier profit of $250,676, or 7 cents a share. Revenue for the final three months was $19.3 million, a substantial increase from $5.6 million in the final period of 1994.
