Weyerhaeuser Mortgage to Stay in Woodland Hills

Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Co., the Woodland Hills unit of the giant lumber company, has signed a 10-year, $25-million lease that will keep its 500 employees based locally.
Weyerhaeuser Mortgage, which has offices across the United States, was considering moving its Woodland Hills operation out of state and looked into various Western states, including Arizona, Oregon and Nevada, before deciding to stay.
The company’s local office is in the Trillium building in Warner Center.
