CareerPath.com Expands Service: The national interactive employment service named Michael Forrest its first chief executive and announced it is expanding its service to include the help-wanted ads from 24 U.S. newspapers. The Los Angeles-based company, which provides one of the largest listing of jobs on the Internet, was formed in October by six of the nation’s largest newspapers: the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, San Jose Mercury News and Washington Post. The 18 newspapers that have joined the service represent major markets and include the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Baltimore Sun, Philadelphia Inquirer and Sacramento Bee.
