Ambassador From S. Korea to Speak

The stability of North Korea and how it affects the rest of the world will be the topic of a talk by Soo Gil Park, the South Korean ambassador to the United Nations, on Wednesday at the Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo.
The event, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Ventura County, will focus on how the “provocative military activities, potential nuclear capabilities and intent [and] the eroding legitimacy” of the North Korean government will be addressed by the United States, the U.N. and South Korea, said David Baker of the World Affairs Council.
Tickets are $18 for members of the council, $22 for nonmembers. Tickets are $28 at the door. A light buffet is included.
