Grant Money Offered to Nonprofit Groups

Service groups that work in the city have until Aug. 30 to apply for a share of $19,405 in federal grants.
The Community Block Development Grants will be given to nonprofit human services organizations. Amounts of up to $1,500 were offered last year. Applications will be reviewed by city officials who administer the program.
