Allergan Glaucoma Drug OKd by FDA

IRVINE — Allergan Inc. said it has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market Alphagan for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The firm said the drug significantly lowers intraocular pressure with minimal effects on cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
