Free CPR Classes Offered to Residents

Free classes in cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be offered to residents Saturdayat City Hall in the Villa Park Town Center. “It’s part of the city’s efforts to stop deaths from drowning,” Councilman Barry L. Denes said.
Three CPR training classes, each three hours long, will be conducted by Orange County Fire Authority personnel. Trainees need to complete only one three-hour session to get a certification card. The three sessions will be at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.
Registration for all classes will be at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall on a first-come, first-served basis. Denes said people taking the class must be at least 12 years old.
