Community Clinic to Celebrate Expansion

The Valley Community Clinic, which turned 25 recently, will mark its biggest expansion since moving to its current location nine years ago with an open house Monday evening.
A privately funded, nonprofit clinic, Valley Community is adding about 2,300 square feet to its 9,000-square-foot facility at 5648 Vineland Ave. More examination rooms and optometry services are the most prominent features of the new space. There also is a medical history room and a clinician consulting room.
“Our expansion celebrates the spirit of the people behind the success of the clinic and is testimony to the generous individuals and corporations who aid us financially,” said Ann Britt, the clinic’s executive director.
Public officials will help cut the ribbon Monday at 5 p.m., then tour the facility.
