In appreciation of their public service work, county supervisors will be honored this weekend at a reception hosted by the League of Women Voters of Ventura County.
The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Ventura College faculty lounge at 4667 Telegraph Road. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $10, with proceeds going to support the league’s voter education fund.
The five supervisors will be asked to share their most memorable experiences in office, league officials said. Special recognition will also be given to Supervisor Maggie Kildee, who is retiring after 16 years on the board.
