Santa Paula 20, Carpinteria 13--Aaron Pettitt rushed for two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass from Willie Zavala to lift the Cardinals (2-1).
Carpinteria (0-3) drove to the Santa Paula 34-yard line with 1:15 to play but Cardinal defensive lineman Ryan Wadkowski recovered a Doug Burrell fumble to seal the victory.
