Re “Chagall, Twentysomething” (Calendar, Sept. 25), I must differ with Christopher Knight. I found the Chagall exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to be a truly uplifting, spiritual experience.
Colorful, inspiring, historical and autobiographical--Chagall’s masterpieces chronicle the years from 1907 to 1917 and show us the events of the artist’s life and historical times in which they occurred.
Bravo to LACMA for a wonderful exhibition!
