Bomb Explodes; 2nd Device Deactivated

A bomb exploded in the Honduran Legislative Palace, shattering windows in the parliament and nearby buildings but causing no injuries, officials said. Authorities said no one had claimed responsibility. A similar bomb was deactivated outside the headquarters of the ruling Liberal Party, an army bomb squad officer said. It was detected after a discotheque in Tegucigalpa received an anonymous call saying that an explosive device had been placed at the offices of the Liberal Party of President Carlos Roberto Reina, he said.
