Here’s Some Cheese to Go with Your Whine

As Ronald Reagan used to say, “There you go again.” The Times has turned irresponsible reporting into an art form. Choosing to take selected negative sound bites from a few frustrated Dodger players after Saturday’s loss, in order to hawk Sunday’s edition, was reprehensible. Where were the interviews with Russell, Claire and the rest of the Dodgers who, I’m sure, would have liked to paste the Padres’ butts to the pavilion Coca-Cola sign rather than roll over dead?

Congratulations. Yellow journalism is alive and well in L.A.
