Moorpark 3, Kern Valley 0--Chad Penrod kicked a 27-yard field goal late in the third quarter to lift host Moorpark (2-2).
Kern Valley’s Bill Jenkins missed a potential game-tying field goal from 27 yards out with 1:26 remaining in the game. Moorpark held Kern Valley (2-2) to 81 yards.
