Burbank 18, Santa Paula 10--Willie Zavala completed 18 of 36 passes for 198 yards, but was intercepted five times and lost two fumbles for Santa Paula, giving Burbank (1-3) its first win after an 18-game losing streak.
Burbank defensive back Jason Edwards picked off four passes, one setting up a 60-yard touchdown run by Reggie Williams in the first quarter. Williams had 117 yards in 10 carries.
Bulldog running back Corry Parrott added a seven-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
Aaron Pettitt rushed for 73 yards in 19 carries for Santa Paula (2-2) and connected with Zavala on a 10-yard touchdown pass. Pettitt also caught five passes for 57 yards.
