The gallery at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C., where visitors can see how money is made, will be closed from Monday through Feb. 3 for renovations. . . . Six months of restoration work on the Kaaba Islamic shrine in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, was finished last week. Scaffolding had blocked view of the shrine.
